Our story
Built for the land. Made for the quiet.
Pura Vida Nativa began with a simple belief: that the best way to experience Costa Rica is slowly, privately, and with as little between you and the landscape as possible.
How it started
A piece of the Pacific coast, kept wild.
We found this land on Costa Rica's Gold Coast — 3.5 acres of native jungle above Playa Potrero, where the canopy breaks just enough to see the Pacific. It had been untouched for years, and we wanted to keep it that way.
Pura Vida Nativa was designed around what was already here. Twelve private tiny homes, placed carefully so each one feels alone in the landscape. Paths that follow the natural contours of the land. A restaurant and pool that invite you to gather, then disappear again.
We open July 1st, 2027. Everything we've built has been in service of one idea: that a place this beautiful deserves to be experienced without distraction.
How we build and operate
Eco-minded from the ground up.
Sustainability isn't a feature at Pura Vida Nativa — it's the foundation. Every decision, from construction materials to daily operations, is made with the land in mind.
Native materials
Structures built with locally sourced hardwoods, bamboo, and stone — materials that belong to this landscape.
Low footprint
Solar-assisted energy, rainwater collection, and composting systems reduce our impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
Wildlife corridors
The grounds are designed to preserve natural movement for the birds, monkeys, and reptiles that call this jungle home.
Local sourcing
Our restaurant sources from Guanacaste farmers and coastal fishers. We keep the supply chain close and the food honest.
